The San Francisco Shock has announced that it will be moving on from Dongjun "Rascal" Kim ahead of the 2021 Overwatch League season. Announced over Twitter, the team who are now back-to-back champions, will be moving forward without the support of the DPS star.

Rascal has become a hugely popular player in the Overwatch League after his unbelievable career that saw him move between several teams over the course of the Inaugural Season. Rascal started his OWL career on the London Spitfire 'superteam' roster, a team that saw him dropped early on in the season after not finding a place in the team's ecosystem. After this, he was traded to the Dallas Fuel, where the team also struggled to find him a functioning slot on its roster.

Rascal's time in Dallas was fraught with issues, ultimately seeing him leave the Fuel for NRG's Contenders line-up, still all during the first Overwatch League season. After relative success on NRG, he was picked up by the San Francisco Shock, where up until a few days ago, he has remained, netting two-championship titles.

It is yet to be revealed what Rascal's plans are, but hopefully, we do get to see him return to the Overwatch League, to carry on this incredible story of a career.
