Considering Dota, Overwatch and FIFA. Counter-Strike is completely off the table, though. Also wants to bring matches to their stadium.

German football club FC Schalke 04 made headlines earlier this week when they announced that they had acquired the League of Legends team Elements. Yesterday, the club held a press conference about the purchase, and made it clear that they're not done investing in esports.

TheScore has a summary of the press conference, and highlights include mentions by both esports head Tim Reichert and the former Elements owner and current team manager Jacob "Maelk" Toft-Andersen that Schalke are looking to sign on teams in Dota 2 and Overwatch.

The team is also in talks with FIFA players, and say they'll announce a signing within the next month.

Counter-Strike, however, is not in the cards for Schalke 04. "Right now at this point, Counter-Strike is no option," said Reichert, apparently without elaborating.

Thomas Spiegel, director of media, communications and PR, also said that the club is hoping to bring both LCS games and the League of Legends world championship to their stadium, the Veltins-Arena.

"The first wish would be to have the World Championship of League of Legends, after it was already in Berlin, to have it here in this stadium," he said. "But one can already take it one step further, that single match days, or other Elements games which hare currently played in the LCS studio in Berlin, can be moved here so that there are single-match days or other phases of the leagues and have them in the arena."

In other Schalke 04 news, the LOL team has brought on Hampus "Fox" Myhre from Unicorns of Love to take the midlane spot. He's replacing Eika in the starting line-up, who had the worst performance of any midlaner in the European LCS in the spring split. So a change on that front was obviously due.
