Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide Studio have released a new gameplay trailer for Call of Cthulhu, and in this one we get to see more of Edward Pierce's investigation on the island of Darkwater, including his descent into madness.
To deal with the "unsettling conspiracies, bizarre cults and even the Old Ones" players will be able to use different skill paths - including "The Spot Hidden" and "Investigation" pads - to unlock more topics during the dialogue sections. For example, convincing the locals will require better skills in Eloquence and Psychology, while more Strength can help to intimidate people.
Call of Cthulhu is based upon the original tabletop RPG, and releases October 30 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Has the game got under your skin yet?
