Sega Mega Drive Classics gets Switch release date

While Nintendo properties arguably have the greater pull when it comes to having a recognisable cast of popular characters, Sega also has a few classic titles up its sleeve, classics that soon will be available on the Nintendo Switch.

Earlier in the year, Sega announced that it would be bringing its collection of 50 different classic Mega Drive games to the Switch, and now the collection has received a release date. Highlights include early Sonic the Hedgehog titles, Phantasy Star 2-4, Streets of Rage 1-3, Golden Axe 1-3, Ristar, Gunstar Heroes, and much, much more.

Sega has announced through a press release, that the collection will launch on December 6th. In addition, they've debuted a new trailer, which you can see below.
