The quarter-finals for the Nerd Street Gamers' bracket of qualifiers for the Valorant First Strike tournament wrapped up last night, seeing some rather shocking upsets.

First of all was the match-up between Gen.G and Sentinels that saw the No.1 North American seed, Sentinels eliminated from the event. Gen.G put up a strong performance, winning 2-0, dominating the top seed, quickly moving forward to the semis.

Next up was the close fought game between Team Envy and T1, seeing both teams slug it out to the final moment. Eventually Team Envy came out ahead, winning the series 2-1, now looking to face Gen.G in the first semi-final.

On the side of the bracket, Team SoloMid beat the life out of 100 Thieves, achieving a quick 2-0 result. TSM will face Cloud9 Blue in the second semi-final, after C9 Blue traded blows with Slimy Boogermen, eventually winning the series 2-1.

The semi-finals will see Gen.G face off against Team Envy, and Team SoloMid take on Cloud9 Blue. Both semis will take place tonight, at 21:00 GMT, and 0:00 GMT, on the Nerd Street Gamers' Twitch channel, which you can find here.
