Shadow of the Beast honours Psygnosis legacy in January

We tried the new Shadow of the Beast back in April (click here for our hands-on impressions) and the spiritual successor of Psygnosis' 1989 cult classic impressed us.

Now, though first launch window was 'Q4 2015', the game has gotten a final release date and it will be available slightly later on January 27th, as a digital download for PS4. As revealed by the official PS Store product page for the game, where it's listed for a mere £15.99.

The new Shadow of the Beast has been developed by Heavy Spectrum and players who pre-order the game get an exclusive theme for their PlayStation 4 dashboard. Given the new date, new info must be around the corner. Here's the recent Paris Games Week trailer and screens:
