Korean and former Guangzhou Charge support player Jinseo "Shu" Kim has signed with the Los Angeles Gladiators ahead of the 2021 Overwatch League season. After playing with the Charge since the start of 2019, Shu will be heading to the west coast of America for a new challenge in the League.

Shu's run on the Charge has been a decent one. The 2019 season saw a 9th place result in the season standings, after losing to the Seoul Dynasty in the Playoffs. For 2020, Shu and the Charge looked to be one of the more dominant APAC teams, finishing 5th overall in the season standings, even winning the Summer Showdown.

Shu has never made it to the Grand Finals under the Charge banner, due to being knocked out this year by the New York Excelsior in Playoffs. A switch over to a rising, and largely rebuilt Gladiators line-up could be exactly what the talented star needs for a shot at glory.
