2GGaming has announced that they are launching a championship series for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U next year, in collaboration with Esports Arena. Here's what they say about the series on the Smash.gg website:

"The 2GG Championship Series (2GGC) is the final destination for Smash 4. In collaboration with Esports Arena, the 2GGC brings together the ultimate smashers from all over the world to showcase the best that smash has to offer. With over $100,000 [US dollars] on the line, smashers will need bring out the best in them to become the 2GG Champion."
