Song of Horror has already had its first two episodes released, and the journey is set to continue on Friday the 13th, which is appropriate considering this series is looking to continue the scares with this episode.

The Presence returns in a few weeks, and we're taken to the University, which is missing writer Sebastian P. Husher's place of work, as well as the last location he was seen alive. We have to work with Husher's acquaintances to continue our search, including new faces Omar Nassiri and Grace Richards, Husher's coworker and pupil respectively.

You can see screenshots for the new episode below, and bear in mind that two more are coming next year. If you've missed the game and want to try it, you can also watch the start of our Let's Play series down below, which we released during Halloween.

"With episode 3 sitting right in the middle of Song of Horror's haunting story, players can be sure they're getting right to the heart of the matter now," says Carlos Grupeli, founder of Protocol Games, the studio behind Song of Horror. "We've been really pleased with the receptions from critics and players alike to the first two episodes. Everything starts to get a little more intense step by step in this new chapter with The Presence serving up new challenges aplenty as it continues to learn from the player's playing style."

REVIEW. Written by Lisa Dahlgren

"Song of Horror is a solid horror experience with a unique twist, but it's also a love letter to horror adventures of old."
