Sonic Forces, the new game starring the blue hedgehog, is set to be unleashed (hopefully it's much better than Sonic Unleashed, though) on November 7. Sega has revealed that an add-on called Episode Shadow will be made available on launch day. It focuses on "the mysterious backstory between Shadow and Infinite" and includes three Shadow stages and the option to play as Shadow in more than 10 modern Sonic stages in the main game.

Episode Shadow is free for everyone who purchases the game. Sega has also announced that the pre-orders for the Digital Bonus Edition for PS4 and Xbox One have started. It will include a Sega/Atlus pack that offers a variety of in-game outfit items and accessories. With these, you can make your character look like five other Sega/Atlus "icons". By pre-ordering you will also get a Shadow Costume.

Sonic Forces is coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Are you a fan of Shadow the Hedgehog or do think he should stay out of Sonic's business altogether?

Sonic Forces

REVIEW. Written by Sam Bishop

"Sonic Forces doesn't come close to restoring Sonic's reputation in the third dimension, and perhaps suffers even more with it coming mere months after Sonic Mania did such a good job."
