Sonic Runners shuts down for good in July

Sega has announced its Sonic themed endless runner on iOS and Android will soon seize to exist. According to the company's statement Sonic Runners will be closing its service on July 27th. In game currency sales have already been closed down and Sega urges players to use all their current stock and in-game items by the end July.

"Since launch (February 2015), the Sonic Runners Team has done its best to provide our users with the most enjoyable play experience possible. It is with great regret that we announce the closure of Sonic Runners, -- We would like express out most sincere thanks to all our users for their patronage and support."
