With just three months till the launch of PlayStation VR, those interested are starting to ask questions that have yet to be answered. Included among these questions has been the point that you may need PS Move and Aim controllers to play the games.

The PSVR setup will set you back $400 / £350 / €400, so naturally players are asking whether they will need to buy Move motion controllers, or whether the trusty DualShock 4 controller will be compatible with all the games coming to the virtual reality platform.

This has caused Sony to release two differing statements. Earlier this week they revealed this to Eurogamer :

"All PlayStation VR titles will support DualShock 4 controllers. However some game experiences will be enhanced with the use of peripherals such as Move or the recently announced Aim controller."

However, now a new statement has been released, to <a href= "http://www.theverge.com/2016/7/14/12187152/sony-all-playstation-vr-games-will-support-dualshock-controllers">The Verge</a> including the vague term "nearly":

"Nearly all PlayStation VR titles will support DualShock 4 controllers, and several games will deliver an enhanced experience that further immerses gamers with the use of peripherals such as Move or the recently announced Aim controller. There will be a limited number of titles that require Move controllers."

So it seems that you'll need to check controller compatibility before buying games if you don't want to shell out for Move and/or the new Aim controllers.

PlayStation VR will launch in Europe and North America on October 13. Head this way to read about most of the games that we know are heading to the platform.
