Spidey's new suit has wings in Spider-Man: Homecoming

During the past weekend's Comic Con Brazil 2016 Marvel showed a short teaser for the upcoming film Spider-Man: Homecoming and the fans went bananas over one small addition to the Spidey-suit which debuted in the last seconds of the clip. The addition to the classic suit in the footage was the "web wings".

The web wings have been a signature part of certain Spider-Man suits for years, though they eventually shrank in size before disappearing completely. We've never seen this element of Spidey's look translated to film before, though, and this will change in the new film, it appears. One of the closing moments in the trailer features Spider-Man flying (or more accurately gliding) through the air with the help of the wings.
