Do you remember S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl? It was a first-person shooter which had a very strong emphasis on survival horror, developed by Ukrainian studio GSC Game World, which was shut down back in 2011. They hinted many times about a sequel, and even tried again with a Kickstarter campaign four years later, but that didn't work out either, so the studio and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 disappeared.

Now the studio has launched a website which is simply called Stalker 2, with an attached year of 2021. Epic Games' Sergey Galyonkin makes a clear hint on Twitter that the upcoming game uses Unreal Engine 4, but other than that, not much is known about the game at this point.

Hopefully they can finally pull it off this time, and hopefully we get to see something more at E3 in June. Do we need a sequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl though? Leave your comments below.
