Anything that followed after Starfield at Microsoft & Bethesda's E3 conference had a tough task ahead of itself, but thankfully, the second reveal of the event was also a big one. Here we learned that the long-awaited horror FPS S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2:Heart of Chernobyl will release on Xbox Series and PC on April 28, 2022. It will also be coming to Xbox Game Pass on the same date.
During the conference, the shooter was described as a "true next-gen experience." It was revealed too that it will target 4K resolution and will contain ray-tracing.
A press release that we received after the show notes that there will be three different digital versions of the game and four physical versions. Players can pre-order the digital versions starting today and pre-orders for the physical versions are set to open in the next few days.
