Cloud Imperium Games' Star Citizen is one of the most supported games on Kickstarter. In 2018, its crowdfunding had accumulated $200 million, which was already surprisingly high . However, the number didn't stop there. Fans kept showing their love for this project and the fund soon reached a whopping $250 million in December of 2019.

Last month (as we reported), thanks to the additional contributions from investors, the project even got an extra $17.25 million.

Therefore, in order to return the favour of all the love and support, Cloud Imperium Games holds free trials from time to time, so that more players can have a taste of this crazily ambitious game and the curious ones can see how this space trading and combat simulator actually is. Now they have announced that another Free to Fly event is coming soon.

According to a post published on the official Twitter account, you can attend this "Invictus Launch Week" and test-fly new ships this week. This event starts on May 22 and will be live until June 1.

"You do not have to be an existing backer to participate in the Free Fly. It will be open to all!", the developer clarified when someone asked.

This event is focusing on UEE Navy, you can find more details here if you're interested in getting involved.
