KeSPA (The Korean e-sports association) recently announced that the South Korean Starcraft 2 player Lee "Life" Seung Hyun has been taken into custody by Korean police.

There is no official information about what Life has been arrested for, but rmatchfixning on the Korean Starcraft II scene have unfortunately been something we've read more and more about and it would not be farfetched to think the arrest is related to claims of matchfixing.

Kwanghee "WaxAngel" Woo, former editor of Teamliquid.net, also seems to be clear about what it is all about as he tweets that "Life arrested for receiving money to match-fix. Further details pending." Woo also pointed to this match as being the focus of the concerns.

Life won the WCS Global Finals in 2014 and came second last year and is perhaps the greatest talent on the Starcraft scene today. The 19-year-old superstar has earned just under half a million US dollars in prize money during his eSports career according to esportsearnings.com.
