In the two weeks following its launch on May 22, Undead Labs' State of Decay 2 has attracted more than two million players to its servers. Impressive numbers for sure, although a portion of those will have come via the title's inclusion in the Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
It's a success whichever way you look at it, and as Aaron Greenberg detailed in a post over on Xbox Wire, the healthy player count has given the community enough firepower to take out around two billion zombies. That's a lot of aiming for the head.
There's also the small matter of the 20 GB (!) patch for the game which landed a couple of days ago, which brings with it a number of gameplay tweaks and quality of life improvements (full patch notes can be found here).
