Famitsu magazine's coveted annual Game of Excellence award winner Steins; Gate is getting a western release on PC this autumn. The game opened a Steam page this week revealing that it will launch in September. The game's plot was outlined on the Steam page:
"Steain;Gate follows a rag-tag band of tech-savvy young students who discover the means of changing the past via mail, using a modified microwave. Their experiments into how far they can go with their discovery begin to spiral out of control as they become entangled in a conspiracy surrounding SERN, the organisation behind the Large Hadron Collider, and John Titor who claims to be from a dystopian future".
Since it was voted one of the most "tear-inducing games" ever made, we suspect people will have a lot to say about it come September.
