Street Fighter V: Champion Edition lands in February

This includes most of the content so far, and we can also expect Gill to join the roster, delivering a lot of elemental damage.

Capcom has revealed that Street Fighter V is getting a Champion Edition, called the "most robust version" of the fighting game, bringing all content from the original and Arcade Edition (excluding Fighting Chance costumes, brand collaboration outfits, and Capcom Pro Tour DLC), on top of all characters, stage, and costumes with the latter.

This means that there are 40 fighters, 34 stages, and over 200 costumes included, as well as all the expected modes like Story, Arcade, Team Battle, Ranked, Casual, and more.

New V-Skills for each character and a balance update are also due to be released, adding "more depth" to the combat, so it should affect all players, even if they're not getting the Champion Edition.

The full version is coming on February 14, and any who pre-order this edition on PS4 in North America can get a static theme and a new costume colour for each character. There's also an Upgrade Kit as well, giving you access to Champion Edition content on release if you already own the base game.

Rounding this all off we have the news that Gill is another character being added to the roster with this version, as you can see in the trailer below. Each attack has an elemental property, from ice to fire, although you can get him in December as a separate purchase if you want.

Will you get the Champion Edition?
