Styx: Master of Shadows video shows stealth gameplay

A new gameplay video showcasing Styx: Master of Shadows, the upcoming stealth heavy infiltration game developed by Cyanide Studios, has just been released. We got to know and love Styx in Of Orcs and Men and the decision to give him a spin off of his own is easy to get behind. The game aims to focus on stealth over action, forcing players to carefully consider each move they make.

The playable build they had for us at Gamescom made perfectly clear that you might be able to take down one or two enemies if they are alerted to your presence, but you'd be out of luck if they called in backup. This new video, however, shows how careful planning and use of your surroundings will allow you to take out multiple enemies, as long as you go about it sneakily.

The game is set to release this October on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
