Thunder Lotus Games' Sundered is now here, and after the first week of launch the developer has posted an update looking back on how the launch has gone, recognising some slight issues but also expressing thanks to all that supported the game.

"At launch, we had some hiccups. Some of them due to excessive difficulty. We fixed that almost immediately," the studio explained. "We're experiencing technical difficulties on PS4. We're fixing them. The game's first loading is too long. We're fixing it. Exploration doesn't have enough variety. We're fixing that too."

"Some of you don't like the hordes," the post continues. "We're not changing them. Several of you came in with expectations of a classic Metroidvania. We are sorry for the confusion, but we won't be changing fundamental game systems. Sundered is what is it is and that's why we love it and are proud of it."

The post also ensures fans that support will continue via fixes and additional content, and that they're looking forward to showing what they're doing next. For more on Sundered, though, check out our review. Do you like what you've played of it?
