Super Dungeon Bros release date announced

Back at EGX a few weeks ago, we had a chat with Kevin Leathers, producer of the upcoming Super Dungeon bros, a unique looking action brawler that involves you and your friends working your way through a dungeon.

From the trailers and what we've played, Super Dungeon Bros has a huge emphasis on co-op, which Leathers confirmed for us: "Most of the co-op works with enemies and puzzles," Leathers told us. "You have to work together in order to defeat the enemies, some might have a shield so someone needs to distract them while someone else goes around them. Some of the puzzles involve you helping each other out, and you can also pick each other up and throw each other as well - which sometimes helps, but also involves a lot of trolling."

We also got an idea of how much content is to be in the game, which is quite a lot more than we expected. "You will have three worlds to choose from." Leathers told us. "You unlock the second and third worlds later on. But because the dungeons are procedurally generated, you have to keep playing and playing in order to unlock everything."

While we didn't get a confirmed release date for Super Dungeon Bros in our interview, one was recently confirmed on the game's official website.
