The indie Liverpool-based studio Lucid Games has announced that their 5v5 free-to-play action MOBA Switchblade is ready to land on PC (via Steam) and PlayStation 4 this month - on January 22 - taking us to its futuristic world as two teams compete to take down each other's towers.

During the process players have the ability to choose two vehicles from 17 different cars spread over four classes at the start of each match, and switch them at any moment during the battle - a nice touch for everyone who loves to play strategically.

What's more is that the studio will add more content in the coming months, including new vehicles, maps, modes, cosmetics, and more.

Will you be investing?

PREVIEW. Written by Ben Kerry

With the Early Access vehicular MOBA going free-to-play, we thought we'd get behind the wheel and sample some road rage.
