Take a first look at David Harbour as Hellboy

Most of us know by now that Hellboy creator Mike Mignola and Descent director Neil Marshall are working hard on a new movie featuring an R-rated version of the blood-red bastard son of the devil, and we know that it's no longer Ron Perlman who will be tucked inside the makeup-heavy rubber-suit set to be used. In these first pics, Stranger Things star David Harbour is all decked out as Hellboy and he looks very much like the character from the comics.

The film is said to be a much closer adaptation of Mike Mignola's comic and it will have Hellboy heading to England this time around. It also stars Ian McShane as Professor Broom, Milla Jovovich as the Nimue, Blood Queen, Sasha Lane as Alice Monaghan, Penelope Mitchell as Ganeida, and Daniel Dae Kim will play Major Ben Daimio after Deadpool-actor Ed Skrein dropped out (due to the whitewashing-controversy that took place soon after Lionsgate came out with the casting news).
