Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection is heading to PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on February 25 (which is several weeks later than first announced), and when it lands it'll do so complete with six original games that have been restored for fans to enjoy once more.

Mega Man Zero 1 through 4 are set hundreds of years after the events of Mega Man X, and they're all included in this latest package, as are Mega Man ZX and ZX Advent, which themselves are set hundreds of years after the Zero games - together they should provide nostalgic fans with plenty of platforming to sink their teeth into.

There are a number of notable features included as part of the package, including a new game mode called Z Chaser, which is a race against time across a dozen stages (and can be played in local co-op - although not with Joy-Cons on Nintendo Switch for some reason). Throw in a casual mode for those looking for an easier ride, and screen filters that tidy up the screen but keep things feeling authentic, and Mega Man fans have plenty to look forward to next February.

Check out the new Red Hero trailer below to see the game in action.

REVIEW. Written by Tero Kerttula

"If you missed them back in the day and can't get enough of the tried and tested Mega Man formula, the Zero series should be right up your street."
