The popular US chicken wing brand Buffalo Wild Wings have announced their partnership with esports organisation Team Dignitas. Buffalo Wild Wings have deemed their restaurants the "Official Hangout for Team Dignitas" too, so you can expect to see players pop up at the chicken wing chain.

As part of the new partnership, popular Dignitas streamer Elle 'Ellektrikk' Lockyer broadcasted an all-day League of Legends stream to celebrate the relationship. Not only this, but Buffalo Wild Wings will present a three-hour 1v1 Amateur Legends Tournament and Team Dignitas Showdown at TwitchCon.

On their relationship, president of marketing for Buffalo Wild Wings Bob Ruhland said: "We're excited to expand our support of the rapidly growing esports community through a partnership with one of the most recognisable and successful teams playing today in Team Dignitas."

What does this mean for Team Dignitas? Firstly, the team jerseys will sport a Buffalo Wild Wings logo on the sleeve, as well as players making appearances at restaurants. Furthermore, League of Legends players Terry 'Big' Chuong and Adrian 'Adrian' Ma will be at TwitchCon to face the finalists of the Buffalo Wild Wings-sponsored tournament too.

Team Dignitas and Buffalo Wild Wings will be at TwitchCon for the tournament on Sunday, October 22, where players have a chance to go head to head with pro players, as well as winning gift vouchers and Dignitas merchandise.

Should more big chains partner with esports teams?
