Team Dignitas has announced their new NA LCS 2017 roster, with Benjamin "LOD" deMunck coming in as AD Carry for the team, with Kim "Ssumday" Chan-ho and Lee "Chaser" Sang-hyun also being new additions as well.

"I was attracted to Team Dignitas' infrastructure, talented roster, and incredible coaching staff," LOD commented. "Combined with the Philadelphia 76ers involvement, I think this will be the ideal atmosphere for me to learn, improve, and grow as a player. Moving into Season 7, I am extremely confident that this team can compete and win against the best in the world."

In terms of coaching, there are also changes being made. "Team Dignitas is also pleased to announce the appointment of Jung Su Kim and Jae Seok Park to coach the LCS team," the announcement said. "Kim was previously on the coaching staff for Samsung Galaxy's successful season, culminating in a second place finish at the World Championship. Park has coached top LPL and LCK teams, and is highly respected for his ability to manage his players."

The President of Team Dignitas Michael "ODEE" O'Dell said: "We have assembled some of the most talented players in the world, and the most forward-thinking, strategic coaching minds in the industry today. From my experience playing, coaching and now managing teams competing at the world's highest level, I can attest to the crucial importance of an elite coaching staff. The addition of these coaches illustrates our commitment to developing Team Dignitas players to their full potential. We believe Coach Kim and Coach Park will help elevate Team Dignitas to a higher level."

Coach Park himself said: "Team Dignitas has assembled an incredibly impressive roster of talent for this League of Legends team. I am confident Coach Kim and I will build a support structure for the players that will allow them to succeed on an international level. Given the resources of the Philadelphia 76ers, and their commitment to build a winning team, the future looks bright."
