Season 9 of the Rainbow Six Pro League just wrapped up this past weekend with a finals event in Milan, and it was Six Invitational finalists Team Empire that managed to grab the win after a grand final matchup with North American side Evil Geniuses.

Evil Geniuses is a team that has come so close to winning many a championship, appearing in plenty of grand finals, and they defeated Immortals and FaZe Clan 2-0 to seal their place in the grand final.

Team Empire had to defeat DarkZero Esports 2-0 and Fnatic 2-1 to get there as well, and the first map on Bank went the way of Evil Geniuses. On Oregon and Clubhouse, however, Empire pulled it back to win the final 2-1 and claim first place in Italy.
