The Call of Duty World League Dallas Open took place this past weekend, and the first major event in Call of Duty: WWII saw Team Kaliber lift the trophy after defeating heavyweights like Splyce and OpTic Gaming.

"Team Kaliber winning CWL Dallas means everything to me. We've all been putting a lot of hard work in the last few years and I've had a chance to watch all my friends succeed in that time. I relive this moment through their eyes and now I've had my chance to win," said Team Kaliber's Lamar 'Accuracy' Abedi, MVP for the event. "Thanks for all the fans in the crowd and watching online. This has been unbelievable."

OpTic Gaming, surprisingly, finished third, with FaZe Clan in fourth, and now Kaliber has proven themselves to be a worthy competitor in WWII. It remains to be seen how they'll do at the CWL New Orleans Open on January 12, but they're definitely one to keep your eye on now.

REVIEW. Written by Ford James

"The campaign is phenomenal, and the Zombies mode is probably the best it's ever been."
