Blizzard are no stranger to the esports scene, but it looks like one of their games isn't particularly thriving on that front. Heroes of the Storm has never excelled competitively, and with news that another team is dropping out from the game, it doesn't look like it's getting much better.

Team Liquid recently announced via their official Facebook page that they would no longer be holding teams in Heroes of the Storm. The team is a mammoth in the esports world, known as big contenders in League of Legends, Counter Strike, Dota 2, and Hearthstone.

This news doesn't come as much of a shock, as Heroes of the Storm seems like it may be on its way out of the competitive scene, but it's still big news that a team such as Liquid consider the game not worth their time. Do you like the esports scene for HotS?
