Publisher Team 17 and Danish indie-developer Adrian Lazar, have announced that the platform adventure game Planet Alpha has teamed up with Team 17's games label. Adrian Lazar has previously worked at IO Interactive and has contributed to Hitman (2017), Hitman: Absolution as well as Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days. He decided to leave the studios in 2015 to focus on Planet Alpha development.

The game combines platforming, puzzles, and stealth, and revolves around waking up on an alien planet, eventually discovering you have the ability to rotate and control the planet. What will you do with your powers? What will you discover?

"I am thrilled to have found in Team17 a partner who can offer us the resources that we need to bring this game to the players, but more importantly, I'm excited to have a partner that truly believes in PLANET ALPHA as much as we do. I cannot wait to share our creation with the world," says Adrian Lazar, via press release.

Planet Alpha is heading to PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One in 2018. You can check out the announcement trailer and some screenshots below.

REVIEW. Written by Ossi Mykkänen

"Planet Alpha isn't the most original platforming game, but it's definitely one of the most good looking sci-fi worlds we've explored recently."
