This past weekend we received the very sad news that Telltale Games is undergoing a majority closure, raising questions about the last season of their Walking Dead series, which is currently ongoing. Well, the studio took to Twitter to thank all those who have shown great solidarity towards them, as well as the partners who have supported them to help complete the last two missing episodes of this final season.

The company also promises to actively work to find a solution and allow the game to release in its entirety, but for now the only confirmation is that today will see the second episode released. Meanwhile, some distinguished industry voices including God of War's game director Cory Barlog have shown incredible support for the many employees who - due to the company's financial situation - will not be entitled to any severance, asking that the few remaining employees are paid even before carrying out their work. The same opinion is also held by Vlambeer's Rami Ismail, who explicitly asked to "save the people then the game, not the other way around".

Will you miss The Walking Dead?
