Tencent opens registration for Street Fighter Mobile in China

We've got a brief look at the new concept, and plenty of players have signed up to try it already.

Street Fighter is going mobile once again, as Kongbakpao reports (via Pocketgamer) that Tencent is opening registration for Street Figher Mobile in China, as you can see here.

Hundreds of thousands of players have registered already, and there are even incentives for inviting friends to join in too, as milestones can be reached to increase the rewards on release for registrants.

The gameplay itself is still vague, as we can only see some stills from the screenshots below, but we guess it will be a proper fighting game faithful to the series, just like Tencent did when transferring Call of Duty's gameplay to mobile as well.

There is no information about a Western release for now, but as a global brand, Tencent could also release the title abroad someday.
