The 3DS version of Dragon Quest XI detailed

New details have been confirmed on the official Japanese website for Dragon Quest XI: In Search of the Departed Time. There the exclusive features coming in the 3DS version were revealed, in particular, the possibility of being able to play in either 2D or 3D, since the two modes will be displayed simultaneously on the two screens of the portable device at the beginning of the adventure. Once you've made your choice, however, it will be possible to change your mind later on. The combat will also be different depending on the mode selected, as will the presence of the enemies on the map in 3D, among other small tweaks. Finally, an additional village will also be implemented in the 3DS version, which will take full advantage of the StreetPass functionality of Nintendo's handheld.
