It seems a perfect fit.

The fact that Swedish developer Avalanche Studios never developed a multiplayer mode for Just Cause 3 still baffles us here at Gamereactor. Sure it would take a huge effort, and sure it would demand constant modding and bugfixes to be administered, but at the same time almost no game comes as close to screaming "this would be great for multiplayer madness" as much as Just Cause.

But just as with Just Cause 2, the Nanos-modders have worked tirelessly to create a custom-made multiplayer mod for the recent game and the beta went live earlier today. The trailer is out, people are playing it, and it sure looks bonkers and amazing at the same time. Read all about it here, at the developers own forum, where you can also watch the trailer. Here is what the site has to say:

"The time has finally come. After over a year of development effort we're happy to announce that our first beta release of our Just Cause 3 Multiplayer mod will be available on December 20. This will be a full release including the server files allowing everyone to host their own servers and begin scripting awesome game modes. We expect the first stable 1.0 release of the mod to be ready in January or February next year. You will be able to download the mod from our website, similar to the previous preview downloads. In the meantime, we have an announcement trailer for you to watch."
