On the day of its release, Hitman publishers Square Enix have been channeling nostalgia to a previously unheard of extent when they invited Paul and Barry Chuckle (which probably only a portion of Gamereactor's readers will have heard of), to become Agent 47's handler.
IO and Square Enix have teamed up with Realm Studios to create a real world environment out in mansion in Devon, giving the Chuckle Brothers a 'handler room,' with a direct line to Agent 47. To add to the experience, the voice of Agent 47, David Bateson, lent his vocal talents.
IO's Mark Skouborg, said: "The objective was to try and see if it was possible to create the feeling of a real life Hitman game experience for the participants.
"Realm Pictures went above and beyond in their efforts and we've been completely blown away by the detail and how well they managed to capture the essence of the game, which is all about freedom of approach. It's simply fantastic."
