The Endless Mission

The Endless Mission offers a narrative heavy sandbox

A new creative adventure from the studio behind Never Alone due for Early Access this year.

E-Line Media is best known for the Iñupiaq puzzle platformer Never Alone they published back in 2014. Now they've teamed up with development studio Endless Interactive for what's described as a "sandbox-style creation game", but interestingly it has a heavy focus on narrative. A narrative that "explores what it means to shape the technology in our lives versus being shaped by it". Sounds pretty interesting to us.

The game is planned for release via Steam Early Access this summer and will have its public premiere at PAX East in Boston next month.

The Endless Mission can be a kart racer...

...or a mash-up of things.

It can naturally also be a platformer...

...or even an RTS, if you so wish.
