The Escapists: TWD gets a free Survival Mode update

New weapons, 2 new maps, a brand new gameplay mode and much more at no extra cost.

Publisher Team 17 in collaboration with Skybound Entertainment - announced today that a new Survival Mode update is now available for The Escapists: The Walking Dead on Xbox One and PC.

This new update adds a brand new gameplay mode, where the players - while taking "on a herd of walkers, grunts and legends across three different levels - have to try and survive for as long as possible on two new survival maps set in Meriwether, called Alexandria and Woodbury". Alongside this content, The Survival Mode update "will also include new weapons and craftables such as the mini gun, sniper rifle and revolver as well as introducing 5 brand new achievements and new leaderboards to compete on".

Skybound Insider members will receive this additional free content on PC, but if you're not a member yet, you can join for free over here. Finally, this exclusive content will enable the player to play as walker versions of Abraham, Michonne and Tyreese and will also unlock the Stun Gun weapon.

The Escapists: The Walking Dead owners will receive the Survival Mode content as a free update to their game on March 24. Have a look at the launch trailer and new screenshots below.
