There's no beating around the bush, the Guangzhou Charge did not start the 2022 Overwatch League season well at all. In fact the team had such an abysmal start that it is currently sitting dead last in the East division with a 1-5 win/loss stat line and a map differential of -11. So, it's not exactly a huge surprise that the Chinese team is looking to switch things up.

The franchise has now announced that Support player He "Molly" Chengzhi has been released from the team and has become a free agent. This means that heading into the Midseason Madness tournament, the Support line for the Charge will consist of both Dong-hyun "Unique" Yoo and Cao "Farway1987" Jiale.

As for what's next for Molly, generally reliable insider Aaron "Halo" Spake has stated that Molly will be signing with the Los Angeles Valiant very soon.
