After ten years of development, Team Ico will publish their new adventure The Last Guardian exclusively on PS4, and Digital Foundry analysed all the technical aspects of the game on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro.
As we discover in DF's analysis, the game has major differences in the two versions in terms of framerate and resolution, as the game on the PlayStation 4 Pro manages to reach 1900p native, but this, of course, is to the detriment of frame rate. When you decide to opt for the 1080p, the PS4 Pro version is much more fluid, unlike what the case is on the original PS4 with 1080p, where - according to DF, "sadly playing The Last Guardian on a standard PS4 easily gives the worst performance of all three options".
It should however be noted that tomorrow Team Ico will release two patches that should solve some minor bugs and problems with the camera and the movement in-game.
