White Paper Games' The Occupation was due for release on October 9 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, but now the studio has announced that the release has been pushed back to February 5, as part of what they call an "extremely tough decision".
"We know that right now the game is so close to being complete and ready to play, but we also know that there are some tweaks and improvements that we need to make in order for it to be something that we're proud to release and an experience that we're happy to hand over to you all," the studio adds.
The game has been in development for over four years now, and the developer sees "the short delay as a small sacrifice to make sure we create something that values your time."
Are you sad to see the date pushed back?
