The PS5 version of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is delayed

Back in March we were told that Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is set to arrive on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 this June. Well, plan has slightly changed.

CI Games earlier announced that the PlayStation 5 version of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 has been delayed due to some "unforeseen technical issues" they've recently discovered. However, the game will still release to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PS4 as previously announced on June 4, and if you'd like, "you will be able to play the PS4 version of SGW Contracts 2 on your PS5" as developer stated when replying to a fan's comment under the thread. And if you decide to get the PS4 edition, you will be able to upgrade it for free upon the PS5 version release.

Other than that, in order to apologize for the delay, the developer has decided to make the first DLC free of charge to entire playerbase across all versions and more information will be revealed later.

So far, we haven't got any new release date for the PS5 edition.
