If you still mourn the loss of the Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro designed Silent Hills that will never be, you might find comfort in Allison Road, a horror game which describes itself as the "spiritual successor to P.T".
The developer Lilith has now launched a Kickstarter campaign, asking for £250,000. With 29 days to go, it has just passed the £50,000 mark.
The game is being developed in Unreal Engine 4, and with optional Oculus Rift support, and you can watch both the Kickstarter presentation and 13 minutes of bone chilling gameplay below. It should be noted that at the base goal of £250,000 Lilith promises to deliver Allison Road on PC. Mac and Linux versions are a stretch goal, but they are also looking at console (PS4 and Xbox One - potentially future stretch goals).
