Wait a second, isn't that... a sword from Twilight Princess?

The Sacred Hero is meant to be a new RPG for the Nintendo Switch and PC that will launch in 2018, therefore it's pretty early on its development and it's first teaser trailer is both rough and barebones. That hasn't stopped the guys at English team Simplistic Entertainment from posting it, however, and you can watch it below.

HQ

"Enter the world of The Sacred Hero in 2018, a unique adventure game that twists the conventions of the RPG genre."

It's unclear whether this previously unknown studio is an officially certified developer for the Switch or even have a dev kit, but the new console logo is prominently shown on the clip. Nintendo hasn't commented on the matter, nor on the fact that the trailer is clearly using a sword taken from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Youtube users noticed both that and the style, which is inspired by the highly anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and have pointed that out rather quick, causing the trailer makers add some further explanation:

"'Sword' asset courtesy of Nintendo & The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Used as a placeholder, will be replaced in final game and later trailers."

"It has been noticed that many people are complaining about the sword being from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and the teaser including a low gameplay FPS. The sword has been used as a 'placeholder' due to the game's early development and we do not plan on using any content from other games or creators without their authorisation to do so in the final game, especially Nintendo. Secondly, there is lag spikes in this teaser due to the game's early development and how it is not properly optimised yet. The FPS drops will lower as development continues."
