There's no denying that the San Francisco Shock's performance at the Kickoff Clash was a little bit of a disappointing one. The team came into the event undefeated, and it really seemed like the franchise would be the one to beat, but that never really came to fruition, as even in its victories, the team looked a little shaky.

But now that we're heading into the second tournament cycle of the 2022 Overwatch League season, the Shock has announced the signing of another tank player to take on the duties of the role alongside Colin "Coluge" Arai. It will be Michael "mikeyy" Konicki who is joining the team and is also returning to the OWL after previously being part of the Boston Uprising in 2020.

As for whether we'll get to see much of Mikeyy this week remains unclear, but what we do know is that the Shock next plays this Thursday, June 16, at 21:30 BST / 22:30 CEST, against the Dallas Fuel.
