It's safe to say that the Nintendo Switch has been a success for the Japanese company, as the console has been bolstered by big releases like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, with more big games like Super Mario Odyssey coming to the console, and now we know just how successful it's been... in Japan at least.
As reported by Kotaku, the Switch has sold 1.5 million sales in Nintendo's homeland, which is all the more impressive when you consider it only launched back in March. On top of that, it took the PS4 around 69 weeks to reach the same figure, so the Switch is doing comparatively well in that regard too.
Can the Switch's success continue?
