Lately, a nasty bug has been corrupting saves in the Xbox One version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, completely destroying all progress. Some users over on Kotaku reports, that there a couple of ways for the saves to be corrupted. For most, it happens after leaving The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt suspended for an extended period of time.
The issue will be addressed in an upcoming patch, and one of the developers wrote a blog post, saying that developer CD Projekt RED are "aware of the issue and is treating it "very seriously."
"We hope to put the fix in a patch as soon as possible," he concluded. In the meantime make sure you save and exit the game when you finish your session, what you may gain in accessibility from suspending your session surely ain't worth the risk of losing your progress.
