The Overwatch development team at Blizzard has released a new 14 minute video in which game director Jeff Kaplan details the changes that are coming in Season 2 of Overwatch's competitive mode. You can watch the entire video below if you want the full rundown of what to expect, but here's a quick summary:

Firstly the 1-100 skill rating system will be ditched in favor of a 1-5000 one, which means you'll jump several levels at a time. Skill tiers will also be implemented. Additionally, competitive points will be multiplied by ten, meaning that you'll earn ten times as many. The points you already have in the bank will also be multiplied. The prices for golden guns will also be multiplied.

Blizzard will also put an end to sudden death, which means that there will be ties from here on in, though they've made sure that these will be rare. For more details regarding all of the changes coming with Season 2, watch the clip below.
