Konami warned that they would be a bit late releasing the PS4 Pro update patch for Pro Evolution Soccer 2017, but the new patch has now been released as of today, updating the game to version 1.03.01 and Data Pack to 2.01.

The update weighs in 172.1 MB and mainly allows you to play the game at 3840x2160 resolution if you have a PlayStation 4 Pro plugged into a compatible 4K TV. Regarding the majority of the new buyers, who just got the new model but still have a full-HD set at home, Konami states that "1080p owners with a PS4 Pro will receive upgraded replays and highlights in 60FPS".

Besides the graphical upgrade, for all users on all platforms there's a new Special Agent debuting on myClub mode, this time focused on the Champions League stars being nominated for UEFA's Team of the Year.

Here at Gamereactor we have downloaded the PES 2017 update for PS4 Pro already, and captured the following screenshot gallery including 18 pictures at 4K. Just keep in mind each is around 10MB in png format without compression. Do you think there's a dramatic improvement in the visual quality of the game?
